Welcome to IndiePit!  We are committed to empowering independent artists and labels by giving you unprecedented control in reaching new fans and selling your music and merch.  You now can sell your music and merchandise directly from your band’s IndiePit profile.  Here’s the breakdown:

YOUR MUSIC

  • Upload all your tracks.
  • Sell them or set them for free download, stream only or list in discography only.
  • Set any price for your tracks and albums.
  • You retain 75% of revenue when selling your music.
  • Payments are made via Paypal when you have earned $30.00.

YOUR MERCH

  • Sell your merch directly from your IndiePit profile.
  • Set up your store for a one-time fee of $25.00.
  • This covers the first item.  For each additional item, please ad $5.
  • There is no warehousing fee.
  • We place the items in your digital store.
  • We warehouse your stuff and handle all the shipping.
  • You retain 70% of all revenue generated from the sales of your merch.
  • Payments are made via Paypal when you have earned $30.00.

IndiePit can also produce merchandise for your band or label from design to screen printing to pressing vinyl and CD’s.

  • Saves you the cost of shipping merch to IndiePit.
  • High quality, screen printed shirts and stickers, pressed CD’s, not burned.
  • A 15% markup on production cost applies.

YOUR PROMO TOOLS

PRO ACCOUNTS

As of June 12th, the first 500 bands to join IndiePit will receive a free one year Pro Account allowing you to:

  • Stream all your music.
  • Receive a 10% discount on promotional placements on the IndiePit homepage.
  • Be considered for FEATURE positions on the IndiePit front page.
  • Be considered for THE RISING section.

COUPONS

  • Create your own promotional incentives by offering your fans discounts on music and merchandise.
  • Generate a unique code to print and hand out at shows or on the street, email to fans, slip into vinyl or other sold merchandise.
  • Create a coupon to place in your vinyl so buyers can get the digital version for free.

HOME PAGE FEATURES

The IndiePit homepage is where all eyes are on you and any one of these positions is going to get you seen and heard.

  • The Alpha Feature - The big, most prominent feature on the page, chosen by the staff at IndiePit.
  • The Beta Features - The two feature to the right of the Alpha feature, also chosen by the IndiePit staff.
  • Sound Checks - These are promotional slots that we make available for purchase so you can get your band on the front page.  For pricing and availability contact sales@indiepit.com.
  • The Rising - These are five IndiePit bands that are getting a lot of  traction in the community or bands that we are simply digging.  Either way, this is where we give you a little boost.
  • Featured Core Member - Chosen by the IndiePit staff.
  • Featured Label - A label we think worthy and it usually coincides with the label featured on this weeks “Behind the Label.”
