The Shoebox: Rick Froberg Gives IndiePit Something Very Cool
If you're looking for radness, you've come to the right place.
You’re guaranteed to find Hot Snakes and Drive Like Jehu in the top 10s of many an IndiePit team member. So how cool is it that Rick Froberg, who fronted both groups, sent us his own handwritten list - on his own stationary, no less? We use exclamation points sparingly, but this calls for one - !
You know you’re hearing from an authority on music when he calls AC/DC by their special name (sorta like knowing to ask for an animal burger at In-N-Out).
And hey, slapping some ketchup on this hamburger of coolness, we also heard from one of Froberg’s bandmates in his new troupe, the blue-eyed-soul-inflected Sub Pop rock band Obits. Here’s what Sohrab Habibion chimed in with:
