A Lull’s “Skinny Fingers”

Let’s stop for a moment and reflect on how rad it is that music videos have gotten cool again. Video-making can be a cost-effective and accessible venture now, and it’s given musicians the ability to flaunt another creative side of themselves.

For proof, look no further than this still-kinda-new-OK-we-just-found-out-about-it video from A Lull. Simple, elegant and childishly playful - in an understated way - the animated time-lapse video reminds us of something José González might present.

The electrofied chamberish-pop group, whose tour incarnation consists of six members, only has an EP to its name but already sounds as refined as a band with three albums under its sleeve. The ensemble is part of the Lujo Records family, which also includes Baby Teeth, the Gena Rowlands Band and the Dark Romantics.
